Why MOT exists

Most games match you with strangers. You get a teammate who is three ranks below you, plays a role nobody asked for, and leaves after the first lost round. MOT exists to fix the part matchmaking cannot: who you play with.

How finding teammates works

You tell MOT which games you play, roughly what rank you are, and when you are usually online. It puts you in front of players whose answers line up with yours. When you both agree, you get a direct message and a voice channel — not a one-off lobby that disappears when the match ends.

Squads: text and voice in one place

A squad is a persistent group: text channels, voice channels, roles and permissions. If you have used Discord this will feel familiar, because it is the same job. The difference is that a MOT squad knows what its members play, so finding four people for a ranked run tonight does not mean scrolling a chat log hoping somebody is awake.

Voice that works for callouts

Voice runs on our own self-hosted infrastructure with noise suppression and echo cancellation on by default. Screen sharing is included; higher frame rates and 4K are part of MOT Pro, or unlocked for everyone in a squad once it has been boosted.

Everything else in the app

Everywhere you already are

MOT runs in the browser, as a Windows desktop app with an in-game overlay, and on Android (in beta). The same account, the same squads and the same conversations follow you between them. Your friends list is not tied to a platform, and neither is your history.
